BHOPAL: A 25-year-old man was murdered in his rented accommodation in Misrod. The body was found in a pool of blood on Friday morning. The news spread panic near the warehouse in Misrod where the deceased worked.
Police said the deceased was Sandeep Malwiya, 25, a resident of Bairagarh-Chichli. He was last seen on Thursday. The way the face of body was distorted indicates that he was hit several times by a tile. The tile was recovered by the police from the spot. It is also said that he was first murdered and then hit by tile as no one heard any call for help.
SHO Misrod Niranjan Sharma said the accused in the case is Sahil who lived with the deceased. Sahil is on the run since Friday morning, said Sharma. The motive of murder was not clear.
The deceased worked in Madhur courier company behind Gangawani warehouse. He would live in the servant quarters of warehouse with his roommate Sahil. Sandeep would open the company’s office every morning and keep the keys with him. One of the company’s workers when reached the room to take keys from Sandeep, found the door of his room open. After he entered, the body was found lying with blood stains all around. The body was sent for post mortem. SHO said the company’s staff has been questioned about his dispute with others around.
