Madhya Pradesh: Regional Passport Office, Bhopal to organise a Virtual Passport Adalat from August 12

Bhopal: In view of Covid-19, Regional Passport Office (RPO) Bhopal has organised a virtual passport adalat for the applicant from August 12. It is happening for the first time in the Country.

Applicants who had applied for a passport but could not receive it due to lack of some documents/adverse police verification report, there is an additional opportunity to represent themselves in front of Passport Issuing Authorities.

Unlike earlier passport Adalat, from August 12, a dedicated team will contact the applicants through Whatsapp Video/ Voice call from an official mobile number ending with 918.

Applicants are advised to download the Whatsapp app by their registered mobile number.

At present, approximately 2,500 cases are pending in this office from July 2019 due to various reasons, said Rashmi Baghel, regional passport officer, Bhopal.
