BHOPAL : With BJP registering victory in Shahdol and Nepanagar by-polls, the preparations for Ater and Bandhavgarh by-polls have begun. Ater assembly seats has got vacant with the death of Satyadev Katare while Bandhavgarh Assembly seat will get vacated once Gyan Singh resigns from the assembly following his victory in Lok Sabha elections.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will soon go on tour of Ater, considering upcoming by-polls. The date of Antyodaya Mela in Ater is being finalized and Chouhan would go there to attend it. The announcements which could be made on this occasion are also being examined.

Chouhan, during campaigning for Shahdol Lok Sabha by-polls, toured Bandhavgarh too. He is concerned more about the outcome of Ater Assembly seat, as it was earlier with Congress.

BJP may give ticket to Gyan Singh’s son from Bandhavgarh while Congress may field Hemant Katare, who is son of Satyadev Katare. Hemant has even started campaigning.
