Bhopal: On the complaint of a class 8 student, chief minister Kamal Nath has issued the orders to regulate public address system (PAS), here on Friday. The 8th class student of Madhav Convent School Meghnagar teshil of Jhabua, Himanshu Soni had filed the complaint to the CM stating that high pitch of DJ sounds is interfering with his to studies and sleep.
It is also added that sound pollution is also affecting animal and birds. The letter was written on February 13. The CM in his reply said, “I agree that because of noise pollution, you are facing problem in studies. The sound of high pitch of DJ is also creating problems for the elderly.”
He mentioned that the government had already issued the directives related to the use of public address system and the time limit of use of DJs. He added that “I am sending the fresh instructions to the SP and the collectors to take action against those using the sound system after the set time.”
