Bhopal: CM forms panel to fulfill less expensive promises

Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath has constituted a committee for the fulfillment of those promises in Vachan Patra which are less expensive and would not put any financial burden on the state government. The committee headed by additional chief secretary, finance, AP Shrivastava, include MP Board of Secondary Education, chairman, Iqbal Singh Bains, agriculture production, commissioner, Prabhanshu Kamal, additional chief secretary, general administration, Vinod Semval and principal secretary, finance Anurag Jain with Ravindra Badgaiyan as private member.

The committee would get orders released from the departments concerned in connection with those points in Vachan Patra whose execution is not expensive. The committee would also decide the draft on the basis of these points. Nath intends to fulfill the points of Congress Vachan Patra executed as early as possible.

The government needs more time to execute the points which demand more funds. Attempts are made to fulfill those promises first which are not expensive. The government has started working on the issue of farm loan waiver, construction of Gaushalas at Panchayat level and some other works which are putting financial burden on exchequer.

CM forms cabinet committee on financial affairs

Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Monday constituted a cabinet committee on financial affairs. The committee would be headed by Kamal Nath. Chief secretary SR Mohanty would be its member. Amongst ministers, Govind Singh Rajput, Jaivardhan Singh, Tarun Bhanot, Priyavrat Singh, PC Sharma and Sachin Yadav would be its members.
