BHOPAL : The city recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday night, which was lowest night temperature recorded in this season. It was two degrees below normal.
But expect more chill as the meteorological department has predicted occurrence of cold winds across MP in next 48 hours. Cold winds are likely to intensify in Bhopal, Shahdol, Hoshangabad, Ujjain, Rewa and Sagar divisions in next two days. Frost would occur at isolated places in Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa division while low to medium density fog will prevail in Gwalior and Chambal region.
On Wednesday, Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 25 degree Celsius. The weather remained dry and winds blew at average speed at 10 kilometres per hour. The city’s temperatures will fluctuate marginally depending on other weather conditions like clouds, fog, mist etc.
The meteorological department has predicted that Pachmari may register minimum temperature of 2 degrees Celsius on Wednesday-Thursday. Khajuraho may record minimum temperature of 6.4 degrees Celsius.
