BHOPAL: BJP functionaries and workers celebrated the birthday of former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with enthusiasm and fervor on Tuesday at his residence. Chouhan, on his birthday, resolved to donate the mementos, which he received as Chief Minister, to raise money to help the poor and the needy.
Chouhan also urged people to come forward and help in the pious work. The mementos would be sold and a fund from the money collected through it would be used to provide medical treatment to the poor.
Party vice president and MLA Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Krishna Gaur, MP Alok Sanjar, mayor Alok Sharma, district president Vikas Virani, Surendra Nath Singh, media in charge Lokendra Parashar, office secretary Rajendra Singh Rajput, Manoranjan Mishra and Ashok Saini and others were present.
