BHOPAL: The single member judicial commission probing the SIMI encounter and Bhopal jailbreak retired High Court Justice S.K. Pandey has decided to remain in office after Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s interference. Earlier on Saturday he resigned from his post and left out, vacating the circuit house.

While talking to The Free Press Journal over phone, Pandey said, “It is nothing like that, from where the information is coming? Thanks”.

On Saturday, the chairman kept his papers, vacated the room no 10 of circuit house situated in Professors Colony, left the government vehicle and went away by hiring an auto-rickshaw.

He was annoyed due to some objectionable rules and regulation meant for his services.

Around hundreds of officials from district administration and others tried to pacify him, but he was not ready to reply on their requests to not leave the post. On Sunday, again, several officers contacted the chairman, but their efforts proved fruitless. Finally,  CM discussed with chairman and convinced him to rectify the rules and others according to him after which he decided to hold the post again. He might start his work again in a day or two.
