Bhopal: Building certified with the MP Energy Conservation Building Code will save power for coming 60-70 years. The Urja Vikas Nigam conducted a workshop on the ECBC issue here on Friday. In the meeting the representatives from urban administration department, CPWD, police housing corporation, PWD, housing board, EPCO, MP electricity regularity board, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, MANIT, architect and consultants participated.
The commissioner of housing board Deshmukh said, “In coming years in the construction of a building with other expertise the component ECBC will be an important part”.
CEPT university professor Rajan Rawal informed that if the building is ECBC certified it will save expenses on power for coming 60-70 years, which is profitable for the owner. The BEE certification consultant Jitendra Vyas informed that by saving power, it will going to conserve climate and also every person can participate in the power conservation. The next workshop of banking sector is scheduled on March 5th and 6th next month.
