BHOPAL: Bilkhiria Police, on Friday, registered an FIR against BCC Promoters and Developers Private Limited proprietor Ankur Bansal and others in connection with the CAPT roof collapse which claimed one life and left 16 others injured. Case was filed under Section 304-B (Section 304 Part II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 337, 338 of IPC.
Besides, a team of Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) led by DIG Pramod Verma has arrived in Bhopal from Delhi to access the situation. As BPR&D has not taken the possession, CPWD will look into matter. Pramod Verma said, “We have come to Bhopal for inquiry. Besides, Bilkhiria police have registered an FIR against Ankur Bansal and others under 304-B,337, 338 of IPC. CPWD will also probe into the matter.”
BPR&D director general MC Bornwakar, told Free Press, “Bhilkhiria police have filed the case against proprietor of BCC Promoters and Developers Private Limited Ankur Bansal and others. Besides, we have sent a team under DIG Pramod Verma to Bhopal to access the situation. As we had not taken the possession of CAPT, CPWD will look into the matter.”
