Bhopal: State government has approved a hike of 2% in dearness allowance of state government employees. The decision was given approval in cabinet meeting chaired by CM Kamal Nath on Tuesday.
Government employees get 7% DA at present, it will now be increased to 9%. While pensioners who are getting 5% DA will get 7% now. Six months of arrears will be deposited in GPF account of the employees. The employees will get benefit of new salary from the month of March.
