Bhopal: Burnt body of minor girl recovered

BHOPAL: The burnt body of an unidentified minor girl was recovered from an agriculture field near crematorium of Khasrod village, under Obedullaganj police station jurisdiction area in Raisen district on Thursday. The body has been sent for postmortem to Bhopal. The identity of the deceased could not be established so far. The age of the deceased seems to be around 16 or 17 years. Prima facie it seems that she was murdered somewhere else and the body was burnt in the agriculture field with paddy chaff. The watchman of the village spotted the body and informed the police after which the cops recovered the body.  SHO Obedullaganj Manoj Singh said, “The village watchman had informed the police about burnt body of a girl. A team went there and recovered the body which has not been identified so far.”
