BHOPAL: Body of minor girl was found hanging from tree in Kolar area on Thursday. This is a second such incident within hours as on Wednesday, a body was found crushed with stone after sexual assault at Manua Bhan Ki Tekri. On the heels of rape and murder of minor girl, body of another minor girl which was spotted hanging with tree in Kolar, has created sensation in the state capital on Thursday. Prima facie it looks fishy as height of tree is not so high that girl may commit suicide. Police said a scrap vendor showed the photograph of the body on his mobile to family members who identified the girl as Priya Pawar, daughter of Madhu Pawar of Kolar.
The family member then rushed to the spot and then to police station. They found the body of Priya Pawar hanging near Dussehra Maidan in Kolar. The body has been sent for a postmortem. A case has been registered. Heavy police force was deployed to pacify the locals as it was second such incidence within a span of few hours. On Wednesday, a minor girl was murdered after sexual assault at Manuabhan Ki Tekri. Body was recovered from bushes. Girl had visited with aunty and her friend. However, her friend Awinash Sahu has been arrested.
