The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has accused chief secretary SR Mohanty of deliberately not allowing rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jabalpur. BJP lodged a complaint in this regard with the election commission on Friday.  A delegation of BJP lodged a complaint with the EC leveling serious charges against the chief secretary saying that he is creating hurdles to allow PM’s rally at Shaheed Smarak ground in Jabalpur. Modi’s rally is scheduled on April 26.  The SDO has reasoned that there isn’t sufficient parking space at that ground, whereas BJP said that the venue has been used to organise several big rallies in the past.  The rally is proposed at 4.50pm on April 26.
