The voice of resentment, within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has begun to surface with ticket distribution. After Shahdol MP Gyan Singh, now Balaghat MP Bodh Singh Bhagat has announced his intentions of contesting elections as an independent candidate. Instead of Bhagat the party has given ticket to Dhal Singh Bisen from Balaghat. Bhagat has bought nomination form on Wednesday. He said the party workers had insisted him to contest elections as independent candidate.
Bhagat could not get ticket because of pressure of former minister Gaurishankar Bisen. Bisen and Bhagat are not at good terms.
Earlier, Gyan Singh had announced contesting elections as independent candidate after party chose Himadri Singh as its candidate from Shahdol. Ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had been given an assignment to appease Singh. BJP organisational general secretary Suhas Bhagat is also trying to pacify Bhagat.
