BHOPAL: The five-day winter session of Vidhan Sabha is going to start from Monday. On the first day, the meeting will be adjourned after paying homage to former leader of opposition Satyadev Katare. Bala Bachchan will be the acting leader of opposition as no one has been nominated for this post from the Congress. Speaker Dr Sitasharan Sharma, in an all parties meeting on Sunday, has appealed for peaceful proceedings in the House. The Congress demanded to increase the duration of the Vidhan Sabha session.
The Congress is likely to corner the government over demonetisation, encounter of SIMI activists, alleged corruption in organising Simhastha and death of children caused by malnutrition.
As Congress continued to disrupt Lok Sabha at centre, Vidhan Sabha is also likely to be disrupted by the Congress. Government will present second supplementary budget and other bills.
