BHOPAL: Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF), the corporate social responsibility arm of Amway India, celebrated Children’s Day, in association with Matrachaya. A special day was organised for the under-privileged children of Matrachaya. The day’s celebration included fun activities like indoor sports and entertainment games, cartoon show etc.
The children participated in all the activities with great enthusiasm. The event concluded with selection of winners in different games and prize distribution. AOF made this day more special for the children by presenting a refrigerator, Nebulizers, digital camera, Microphone and AV system to Matrachaya.
Commenting on the occasion, Sandeep Prakash, senior vice-president, West and South, Amway India, said, “The Children’s day celebration is a part of our CSR Project called Sunrise under which we support 15 NGOs working in the area of education of health, hygiene of under privileged children. It is a gratifying and humbling experience to see smiles on the faces of these beautiful children.”
