BHOPAL: A 18-year-old girl died after her two-wheeler was allegedly hit by a speeding car on Tuesday evening in Habibganj locality here. The accused after hitting the victim’s two-wheeler fled from the scene and the police are searching him.
According to Habibganj police, the victim identified as Nikita Biswas, a resident of TT Nagar, was going towards Bittan Market from Kolar locality. On the way she was hit by a speeding Wagon R car from behind after which she fell on the ground. The accused escaped from the spot soon after the incident. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital by the locals where she later succumbed to the injuries. Till now the number of the car is unknown and the police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused unidentified driver, added police. Babus with Dipali but wary of speaking out.
