BHOPAL: In a daylong conference on importance of Ayurveda for anaemia and nutrition, renowned Ayurvedic physician, Padma Shri laureate Dr Balendu Pratap said that 59 per cent of girls of age group 10-19 years suffer from anaemia and Ayurveda can solve this problem without any side effects on the body. Dr Pratap was speaking in a conference organised by department of woman and child welfare at Academy of Administration on Sunday.
Minister of woman and child development, Archana Chitnis emphasised on promoting Ayurveda for reducing malnutrition and anaemia among young girls. She said that Ayurveda has been with us since ages and has always proved that it is no less than any pathy.
