BHOPAL : ‘Mukhyamantri Shala Jyoti Yojana’ will be launched for ensuring electricity supply in government schools. All 1.02 lakh schools in the state will be electrified over the next three years. The Chief Minister gave these directives while reviewing functioning of School Education Department here on Monday.
School Education Minister Paras Jain, Minister of State for School Education Deepak Joshi and Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa also attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed that boundary walls should be constructed in all new school buildings and in schools not having boundary walls.
The motivators appointed during School Chalen Ham Abhiyan should be kept active and those with outstanding performance should be felicitated. Every school should celebrate annual function and Bal Sabha every Saturday. Students should be provided scholarship within time-limit. From next sessions, students should be provided free of cost cycles instead of money to purchase them.
Action plan should be chalked out for effective teaching in Sanskrit schools. Anti-tobacco campaign should be conducted in every school. Infrastructure should be improved and seats increased in Schools for Excellence.
Ensure timely promotion of teachers. Integrated School Scheme should be introduced as pilot project in every development block to better the quality of education.
He lauded the department for dispatching text-books to all schools within time-limit.
Online working of revenue courts from April
The revenue courts in the state would start working online from April 1. The parties and lawyers would be able to see the status of their cases through this facility. They would also be able to see the orders given in their cases and take their print outs sitting at home. A software in this regard has been prepared. The concerned officials are being imparted training too. The online working of revenue courts would begin in some districts on experimental basis. This information was given in a review meeting held at Mantralaya here on Monday.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, reviewing the activities related to revenue administration in the meeting, said homeless people would be given Pattas on residential land and a drive in this regard would be launched. Chauhan instructed to issue show-cause notices to the officers in the districts not taking interest in this work.
