Thandla : In a view to have a good administration and proper facilities like sewage, clean water, drainage, footpath and roads the people of Thandla district elected the BJP member in their constitution by giving him large number of votes as from last 10 years the BJP government marked their presence in this district. But the expectation of the people veined because the person, who is elected has not done any development work.
Chief minister Shivraj Singh chouhan has sanctioned Rs 1.50 crore for proper water supply in this district and former Chief minister Digvijay Singh has also given Rs 4.50 for Shivsagar reservoir in order to provide better facilities of water. The people opf the district thought that now they will get the water for their farms and factories but due to the corruption proper pipelines has not been set up and the filter plant was not set up.
Almost all the wards including 1, 2 and 9 of Indrapuri colony , Fakri colony, Acharya colony, Dayal nagar and many more is facing acute water problems in summers and in rainy season also.
The Sarpanch of this village has complained several times to the irrigation department in this regard but the officials are not taking anything seriously. All the local Panchayat is running in the name of God and there is no one to take care of it.
