Sendhwa : More than 65 new two-wheelers were gutted when fire broke out suddenly in a container lorry that was carrying the motorbikes from Haridwar to Vishakahapatnam, on the intervening night of Monday – Tuesday at Gawadi Jamnya about 9 kms away from the city. The driver and the cleaner somehow managed to escape from the container to save themselves. Narrating the incident, cleaner named Mahfuj, resident of Pratapgarh, informed that they were heading towards Vishakhapatnam, when suddenly their container’s tyre got burst due to which the container turned turtle. Both the driver and cleaner broke the glasses and tried to escape. He said that the diesel, which was leaking, caught fire and in no time, the whole container gutted. It took 40 minutes to the fire brigade to reach the spot, as they have to face challenges on reaching due to traffic. All the bikes placed inside the container got burnt. The loss has not been estimated yet.
