BHOPAL : A minibus plying on the Malikhedi- Nayapura route turned turtle on Wednesday near Jain Mandir located at TT Nagar area on Wednesday. The accident happened when the driver was trying to overtake another bus in a bid to get more passengers. Twelve persons were injured in this accident.
According to a passenger 70-year-old Kandum Sahu of Ambedkar Nagar he was sitting in the bus number MP04 H-8719 when it suddenly upturned. Then TT Nagar police reached there and admitted the 12 injured passengers to JP hospital. Barring two, the other passengers were discharged from the hospital after first aid. Sahu and Karma Salve had injuries on their forehead and are under treatment. Police moved the bus to the road-side with the help of crane to may way for traffic.
