The unusual sight surfaced online when Sonsern Lin, a Thai-Chinese content creator, filmed himself eating giant crispy crickets. Lin comfortably grabbed a jar of his snack and enjoyed it in the viral video. While the visuals put viewers in discomfort, the reel creator ate the insect without any complaint or fear.
Lin shared on Instagram that he tried eating insects during his trip to Japan. "Eating Giant Crickets in Japan", he wrote while uploading the reel on social media.
