PV Sindhu Creates History, Becomes First Indian To Win BWF World Championship

World’s no. 5 shuttler PV Sindhu on Sunday defeated her familiar foe Nozomi Okuhara of Japan to win her first gold at the BWF World Championships 2019 in Switzerland’s Basel. Indian star-shuttler made an impressive start to the match with incessant attacking mixed with variety of defence. Sindhu created history by becoming the first Indian to win BWF World Championship.
