Renowned English singer Ed Sheeran's doppelganger continued to click selfies with fans at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester amid day five of the fourth Test between England and India. In a video surfaced on social media, the lookalike was seen going around the stands clicking selfies, leaving the commentators amused.

In recent times, Sheeran had spent quite some time with cricketers. During his concert in India earlier this year, he had met England star Jos Buttler, who attended the musical event in Pune. Sheeran had also spent time in the Rajasthan Royals' camp, playing cricket with the likes of Riyan Parag and Tushar Deshpande.

During lunch break, a host of Indian fans had also lined up for his selfie, thinking of him to be the real Ed Sheeran. Meanwhile, below is the video of the artist's doppelganger going around the stands to click selfies:

Team India show remarkable resilience as draw seem on the cards

On the cricketing side of things, Team India, led by Shubman Gill, have displayed remarkable resilience on day five to take their side towards a draw. Although they had lost B Sai Sudharsan and Yashasvi Jaiswal in back-to-back deliveries for ducks on day four, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill showed sensational grit to not lose any more wickets.

By Stumps on day four, India had reached 174/2. However, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer dismissed Rahul for 90 and Gill for 103, ensuring that the hosts stay in the contest. But Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja have kept the fight on for India. Gill notably struck his fourth hundred of the series, thereby joining Sunil Gavaskar and Don Bradman as the captains to score four tons in the series.

England's mammoth total of 669 was headlined by hundreds from Joe Root (150) and Ben Stokes (141), proving to be the highest team total at the venue. Root, meanwhile, became the second-highest run-getter in Tests and is now behind only Sachin Tendulkar, who has 15921 runs in the format.

At the time of writing this, the tourists held a lead of 56 runs, with Sundar and Jadeja looking comfortable after hitting fifties.
