Mumbai : SPG Punters registered impressive home and away wins to earn five points, in the second week of the PJ Hindu Gymkhana Wilson Jones Mumbai Billiards League.

Punters opened their account in the competition with wins over JVPG Jaguars that earned them a bonus point, to remain second in Group A. Topping the group are Islam Gymkhana Billiards Warriors who also earned five points including a bonus point for home and away wins over PJ Hindu Gymkhana Spotted Jugglers. The other teams to earn five points were, Khar Gymkhana Contenders, ECC Baize Masters and CRMI Star Blue.

Former Railways champion Siddharth Parikh fired the tournament’s highest break of 141 for Group E toppers CCI Billiards Boys who lost at home but won away against Park Club Samurais, to swell their tally to seven points.

Aditya Agrawal while world bronze medallist Devendra Joshi also hit a 78, for the star-studded PJ Hindu Gymkhana Sultan of Hazards against CCI Rockets in Group G.
