The match between Karnali Yaks and Sudur Paschim Royals in the Nepal Premier League witnessed Royals wicketkeeper Binod Bhandari executing MS Dhoni like stumping against Karnali Yak's which drew comparisons with MS Dhoni.

The incident happened in the final over of Karnali Yaks' innings. Bipin Sharma attempted a lap shot of Harmeet Singh’s delivery but failed to connect. The ball, however, got lodged in Bhandari’s thighs. Unaware of his position, Sharma stepped out of his crease. Seizing the opportunity, Bhandari quickly removed the bails.

MSD has made a name for himself not only with his batting but also with lightning quick glovework behind the stumps. Another thing that got noticed was Bhandari wearing yellow No 7 jersey which is the number Dhoni has on his CSK jersey.

Sudur Paschim Royals Secure Comfortable Victory Over Karnali Yaks

Regardless of the drama, Sudur Paschim Royals cruised to a comfortable 6 wicket victory over Karnali Yaks. The Royals enter the contest on the back of a nervy five-run win against the Pokhara Avengers, while the Yaks had come into the fixture on the back of their five-run win against Lumbini Lions
