IPL 2021 game no. 40 will feature Rajasthan Royals taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai at 7:30 IST today.

Last time when they were up against each other in India, Royals displayed a brilliant batting performance and sealed a terrific 55 run victory, thanks to Jos Buttler's century. But now the tables have turned for both the sides. The Royals did edge past the Punjab Kings but lost the game against Delhi Capitals where they stood a fair chance. Nevertheless, the Sanju Samson led side still have something to play for and will look forward to a win in this game to sustain their play off chances.

Coming to SRH, the Kane Williamson led team is almost eliminated from IPL 2021 as they have only 2 points against their name, after suffering defeats in 8 out of 9 matches. However, a SRH's win in today's game can surely spoil the party for the 2008 champions, who still have some chances left and hence the Royals can't afford to take their opposition lightly tonight

Speaking of the pitch report, the Dubai track has been fairly good for batters. However, the bowlers, the fast bowlers in particular, have yeilded a lot from the surface. Chasing has usually been difficult on the pitch. Batting first should be the way forward.

Free Press Journal conducted a poll on Twitter ahead of the match which will commence at 7:30 pm today. The poll was conducted to find out which of the two teams will win the battle on field today.

The Poll results show both SRH and RR have equal chances of wining the game as both the sides have received 50% of vote each.
