The 'Koyata Gang' has once again created terror in the city. On Sunday, the gang tried to scare citizens by brandishing with axes in their hands in two different parts of Nashik. Videos of this entire incident have now surfaced and are going viral on social media.
The first incident took place in the Sanjivannagar area under the Ambad police station limits. Late on Sunday night, some people entered the parking lot with axes aand sickles in their hands and vandalized vehicles. Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that this vandalism was due to an old dispute. A large number of vehicles were damaged in this, creating an atmosphere of fear among the local citizens.
The second incident took place on Jail Road in the Nashik Road area. Here, the 'Koyata Gang' directly attacked a youth standing on the road. The attackers also vandalized vehicles in the area with axes. The seriously injured youth has been admitted to a private hospital and is undergoing treatment.
Both these incidents have once again shown the increasing dominance of the 'Koyata Gang' in Nashik. Despite such incidents happening continuously, local citizens are alleging that effective action is not being taken against this gang. The big challenge now before the Nashik police is to break the terror of the 'Koyata Gang'.
