The Mumbai-arm of the Congress organised protests on Wednesday against the constant increase in fuel prices. The protest was named 'Bullock Cart rally without Bullock'.
The rally was held near Metro Mall, on Western Express Highway in Borivali East. The protest was led by Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap and Working President Charan Singh Sapra.
In Mumbai, petrol prices crossed the Rs 100 mark for the first time ever on Saturday. Currently, the fuel price in the city remains at a new high of Rs 100.72 per litre while Diesel price continues to be at Rs 92.69 a litre, the highest among metros.
