With the arrival of June, farmers in the rural areas of Kashmir have busied themselves in harvesting cherries.
2021 has turned out to be good for Kashmiri farmers as the state has received a good amount of cherry crops. The harvesting season of the cherry fruit in various areas of Jammu & Kashmir is beneficial to the youth in the state as it generates employment as most of the activities required to harvest are done by hand and not machines.
Here's a look at young farmers working at an orchard in a village located 1 km from the town of Kunjar in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district in Jammu & Kashmir.
