Navi Mumbai : ‘A joy of giving’, a month-long donation drive was conducted successfully in Sterling Wockhardt Hospital, Vashi.
Doctors and employees of Wockhardt Hospital celebrated New Year with tribal women and kids in Poynad (Alibaug). This is second year where Wockhardt hospital doctors, employees, patients and their relatives donated toys, cloths, stationery and utensils to the tribals.
This year Wockhardt Hospital doctors and employees travelled 70 km from Navi Mumbai to Poynad where more than 20,000 tribals are struggling for good education, clean water and appropriate employment.
Dr Mehul Kalawadia, Central Head, Sterling Wockhardt Hospital, said, “Our vision to conduct such activities is to understand last mile problems in the society and try to help people in every possible manner. Our doctors and staff are going to organise such social initiative in future also.”
