Mumbai : The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and a few pockets in Thane will bear the brunt of low rainfall in the city as the irrigation department has enforced 30% water cut in the regular supply from Thursday onwards.
The executive engineer of the state irrigation department informed that the Thane MIDC will have no water supply from Wednesday midnight (November 25) to Friday midnight (November 27).
Meanwhile, Mumbra, Kalva, Diva, Kolshet and Balkum Pada No.1, (except Reti Bandra, Mumbra Koliwada, Shailesh Nagar, Sanjay Nagar and Bombay colony) will have no water supply.
In other pockets, water supply will be with low pressure, the official said.
