One commits suicide in lodge

Mumbai: A 31-year-old man from Valsad, Gujarat was found dead in a guest house at Nagpada on Wednesday morning, even as the police are trying to find out the reason for the death. Police sources said that Mayur Patel had come to the city on Tuesday evening and had checked in at a guest house. On Wednesday morning, when he did not come out of his room for check out, the staff went to his room and found it locked from inside. When there was no response despite repeated knocking, they called the police who found his body hanging from the ceiling fan. An officer from Nagpada Police Station said that they are still talking to the relatives to find out what prompted the youth to take his life.
