This mesmerizing spectacle is meticulously organised by the Kharghar Colony Forum, meticulously following traditional customs and rituals.
The heart of this annual celebration is a grand 55-foot Ravana Dahan, a dramatic ceremony where the massive effigy is set ablaze. This awe-inspiring display is complemented by the equally lively Garba Mahotsav festivities, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity that draws people from all walks of life.
Leena Garad, a former corporator and the esteemed chairperson of the forum, extends a warm invitation to the city's residents. They are urged to come together and be part of the grand Ravan Dahan celebration, a night that promises breathtaking firework displays and an unforgettable sense of community.
While the event is undoubtedly impressive, it's important to clarify that Garad's claim of having the largest Ravana Dahan in Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivali, or Parisha is, however, contested and unsupported by concrete evidence.
