Mumbai: Students await CBSE and CISCE Class 10 results

The Class 10 results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have not been announced yet. Initially, on May 1, 2021, when the CBSE released the policy for the tabulation of marks for Class 10 students, the Board had said results of Class 10 students will be declared on June 20, 2021. Later, the CBSE extended the deadline up to June 30 for schools to tabulate Class 10 marks and submit them to the Board.

Schools affiliated to CBSE said they have submitted marks and are waiting for the declaration of results. The principal of a CBSE school said, "The process of calculation of final marks of Class 10 students as per the assessment policy released by the CBSE took time to be completed. We have submitted marks to the Board. We hope CBSE will announce Class 10 results soon."

A senior teacher of a school affiliated to the CISCE said, "Results of Class 10 Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) are expected to be announced in July. Just like students, schools and teachers are waiting for the CISCE to declare results online."

This year, Class 10 exams of CBSE and ICSE were cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation. CBSE and CISCE released marking policies for the assessment of Class 10 students.
