Mumbai: Police raided an illegal hookah parlour in Pant Nagar, Ghatkopar, on Monday midnight. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shivdeep Lande during the night patrolling raided Jalsa fast food restaurant in Ghatkopar arrested seven people, along with the restuarant manager.
Police also confiscated 22 hookah pots and seized Rs 8,500 from the parlour. Police found 29 customers including three girls in the hookah parlour at the time of the raid and registered a case under relevant sections of IPC and the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, at Pant Nagar police station.
