Mumbai: The Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mega block on Sunday for their maintenance work. Both Up and Down fast lines between Borivali and Goregaon will be suspended between 10.35am and 3.35pm. Fast trains will run on up and down slow lines between Borivali and Goregaon. Slow trains arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 11am and 5pm will reach their destinations 15 minutes behind the schedule. All fast or semi fast services leaving Thane between 10.46am and 3.18pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla, in the order of their scheduled halts, and as a result will arrive 15 minutes behind the schedule.
Down fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT from 9.53am to 2.42pm will be diverted on down slow line between Matunga and Mulund, halting at all stations between Sion and Mulund and will reach destinations 20 minutes behind schedule. Down fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted to down fast line from Mulund. Special trains will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform no. 8) during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Central/Main line and Western line from 10am to 6pm.
Up Harbour line services for CSMT leaving Panvel, Belapur, Vashi from 9.53 am to 2.44pm and Up Harbour line services leaving Bandra/Goregaon from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended. Down Harbour line services to Vashi, Belapur, Panvel leaving CSMT/Vadala road from 11.34am to 4.23pm and down harbour line services to Bandra, Goregaon leaving CSMT from 9.56am to 4.16pm will remain suspended.
