Man held for groping six-yr-old in Dahisar

Mumbai: A 23-year-old man was arrested for wrongfully confining and molesting his six-year-old neighbour in his house in Dahisar East. The incident took place at 10 pm on Friday, when the victim reached the house of accused while playing with her friends. “The accused took her inside and locked the house. He illegally detained her under the bed, locked the house and molested her,” said a police officer. Her sudden disappearance panicked her parents, who started to search for her on Friday night. They spotted her slippers lying outside the house of the accused. Then they lodged a complaint in Dahisar police station at 1 am and the accused was arrested from his house. He was produced before a magistrate who sent him to police custody
