Bhayandar : Sleuths of the Navghar police have arrested a 36-year-old engineer for allegedly forcing his wife into having unnatural sex for a period of more than five years. However, the complaint was registered three years after the woman faced the horrific ordeal.
According to police, the accused, Nitin Kumar Goyal, was arrested after landing at the Mumbai airport. The action followed after his wife registered a complaint accusing Nitin of forcing her to indulge in unnatural sex. The couple were married 10 years back. However, fearing social stigma the woman chose to remain silent but the deteriorating marital relations between them prompted the woman to register a complaint. A case under section 377 has been registered in Navghar police station. The complaint has reportedly filed for the divorce.
