Mumbai: The Amboli police on Wednesday arrested a 27-year-old man for illegal possession of an imported pistol. The arrested accused has been identified as Shekhar Yadav.  The police nabbed Yadav near the Jogeshwari railway crossing after they received a tip-off from an informant that he would arrive at the spot on Wednesday.  “Yadav hails from Uttar Pradesh and had been living in Vakola, Santacruz.  He was previously working for a hotel but is currently unemployed. “We seized a pistol and two rounds from him on the spot. Further investigation is underway,” said an official associated with the Amboli police station.
