Bhayandar : There was a face-off between lawyers and policemen at the Mira Road police station on Saturday following a brazen attack on advocate Shivprasad Kanojiya by on-duty personnel right inside the police station.
In his complaint, Kanojia has stated that he had gone to the police station to check the status of seven-month old dowry-related plea of his client.
But the on-duty personnel got into an abusive argument with him and the heated exchange of words took a violent turn when five on-duty cops allegedly thrashed Kanojiya, trying to pin him down on the floor.
