Mumbai: A civic body corporator and her husband were  arrested on Thursday from their residence in Mahim area

for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a person, who runs an NGO in the city, a top ACB officer said. “The duo, identified as BMC corporator Shraddha Patil and her husband Rajesh Patil, demanded and accepted money to refrain from questioning the NGO’s slums cleaning work under ‘Clean Mumbai Prabhodhan Abhiyan’ scheme,” said Additional Police Commissioner (ACB) Vishwas Nangare Patil.
