Mumbai: A 22-year-old Nepalese woman was allegedly gang-raped by four four men in Delhi’s Dwaraka area on Sunday night. The case was filed with Oshiwara police after she reached Mumbai. The case has been transferred to Delhi police for further action.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the police said that the victim was on her way to Mumbai to meet her Brother. She had reached Delhi on Saturday by bus and was supposed to take a train to Mumbai. However, she could not reach the station in time and missed her train. The woman was sitting on the platform when four persons approached her. They told her that it was not safe to be there and took her to Dwarka where they allegedly raped her.

The accused then brought her back to the railway station and left her in a Mumbai bound train. The woman after reaching Mumbai on Monday night, went to Goregao where her brother resides, and narrated the incident to him. He then took her to the Oshiwara police station and lodged the complaint.
