Ujjain: In view of upcoming cleanliness survey, Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) disseminated message on cleanliness during kiting programme at Dussehra Maidan on Makar Sankranti on Monday. Meanwhile, denizens, particularly youngsters, enjoyed kiting in the backdrop of musical sounds throughout the day.
Collector Shashank Mishra, mayor Meena Jonwal, municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal, leader of opposition Rajendra Vashishtha, mayor in council members Radheshyam Verma, Rajshri Joshi, additional commissioner Manoj Pathak, deputy commissioner Sunil Shah, Yogendra Patel, superintending engineer Pradeep Nigam, assistant commissioner BK Sharma, health officer BS Mehte and Purushottma Dube were also present in the programme.
