Ujjain: 75th birth anniversary of former Union minister Madhavrao Scindia was commemorated by garlanding his portrait on Sunday. Shedding light on the Madhavrao Scindia’s life, former MLA Rajendra Bharti said that he was a very simple and emotional person.
Recalling an incident he told gathering that during his tenure as the railways minister, he became very emotional and distracted on hearing about the news of the people dying in train accident and immediately resigned from his post of minister and inspected the spot of accident.
On this occasion City Congress Committee acting president Azam Shaikh, rural unit acting president Narayan Singh Bhatiya, Neeraj Solanki, Gajendra Marothiya, Abhishek Lala, Devendra Patni, Ritesh Jatiya and Asif Khan were present among others.
