Ujjain: Goods worth lakhs gutted in fire in general store

Ujjain: Fire gutted goods in a general store on Wednesday morning in Dewas Gate area. Waist belts, goggles, socks, hankies and caps were burnt in Yogesh Belt house located in Kanak Complex due to fire eruption. The neighbours informed owner after seeing smoke emitting from the shop. On being informed police and fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire. Owner Sanjay Choudhary informed that goods worth Rs 3 to 4 lakh were destroyed in the fire. The police started investigation in the matter.
