Ujjain: Ex-PM Rajiv Gandhi was remembered by party workers, leaders and social organisation on his death anniversary on Tuesday. District Congress committee paid tributes to Gandhi on his 28th death anniversary at Piplinaka square.
The party members assembled there and remembered Rajeev Gandhi under the leadership of district head Mahesh Soni and Kamal Patel. On this occasion Ashok Bhati, Mukesh Bhati and other leaders were also present. The staff members of Ujjain Development authority took an oath against terrorism in a programme organised at 14am.
On this occasion assistant engineer Ravindra Thakur, project incharge Sharad Barve and other officials were present. Jiwajiganj Block Congress Committee in the leadership of Mukesh Bhati remembered Rajiv Gandhi. On this occasion party members offered garlands to the statue of Gandhi.
