The phase four of Lok Sabha Elections takes place on April 29 where a majority of the Mumbaikars will be seen voting. Lok Sabha Elections candidates are doing anything and everything possible to step out and get votes for their respective parties. Amidst this attempt of candidates flattering people to vote, actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar, 45, was seen campaigning on the streets of North Mumbai, seeking votes from people for Congress.
On March 27, 2019, this Bollywood actress joined Rahul Gandhi’s party, ‘Congress’ and she has been campaigning since then. In a video shot by ANI, Urmila Matondkar was seen campaigning door-to-door in North Mumbai, giving flowers to people and seeking votes from them. Urmila was accompanied by a bunch of women who were walking along with her as she campaigned. She was giving flowers such as roses to women and striking a conversation with the family members too.
Matondkar was also seen getting praised by a lady who was dressed up in a beautiful saree to welcome Matondkar (presumably), holding a puja thali and applying red tilak on Matondkar’s forehead. The actress-turned-politician was smiling and joining hands as she got emotional. She also hugged an elderly woman and spoke to her family standing at the door of her house.
